Here's what we have been up to since we last wrote:
Students took a trip to Chicago to experience the beautiful Christkindlemarkt and try German food and drinks. We ate deep-dish pizza, went shopping on Michigan Avenue, visited Millenium Park and the CloudGate, and we saw the city from the 94th floor of the Hancock Tower! Even though the city was covered in fog, we had the chance to get a once-in-a-lifetime view of skyscrapers peeking out from the clouds. It was gorgeous!
We had a three week break in observance of Christmas and New Years. And we started 2016 off with a great new session! Our students are eager to improve their English this session, and we have students from 14 different countries. It is amazing to watch everyone practice their English together while forging friendships that know no borders.
Tomorrow, we will be testing out our ice skating skills at the UW-Madison Sports Shell. Stay tuned for photos!
