Potluck

UW-Platteville

On Monday, February 23rd, UW-Platteville came to visit MESLS and talk to our students about their course offerings. Thank you so much for sharing this information with us, UW-Platteville. Our students are very excited!

Ski Trip

On Saturday February 21st students enjoyed a skiing/snowboarding trip to Devil's Head Resort in Merrimac, Wisconsin. It was a beautiful day on the slopes as students learned how to ski and snowboard. Everyone had a wonderful time out on the mountain!

Valentine's Day!

We celebrated Valentine's Day a day early at MESLS.  The highlights from our party: card making, cookie decorating and watching Gibran's short film (from the Dominican Republic)

The Babadook

Friday, February 6th, MESLS students enjoyed a (FREE) scary movie and popcorn. We were scared from time to time, but we had so much fun!

Green Ticket Winners

Tuesday, February 3rd, Gibran and Carlos' names were pulled from our green ticket box.  Way to go, gentlemen.  You are great MESLS role models!

University Information

February 2nd, Jessica gave her "University Presentation."  What is conditional admission?  What steps do I need to take?  She answered these questions and explained all you need to know about attending an American university. 

February 4th, Edgewood College will come visit MESLS.  Come learn about this Madison-based school and the programs they offer!

Superbowl

Sunday, February 1st, students learned all about American football culture with the Superbowl (Patriots vs. Seahawks).  What an unforgettable game and half-time show!
