Free Classes!
Free classes were a big hit this week!
Part two of the photography series actively engaged students. They learned about camera settings and options. We're all very excited to try out new techniques and practice taking pictures with the manual setting. More to come next Wednesday!
Thursday's IELTS class was very informative. Students learned strategies to improve their writing skills, tailored to the IELTS exam.
Coming up next week:
MESLS is closed on Monday, May 27th, for Memorial Day!
Wednesday, May 29th, our university advisor will be leading a university information session from 12:30 - 1:15. Then part three of the photography series will take place from 2:30 - 3:30.
Thursday, May 30th, Jenny will teach a free IELTS class from 2:30 - 3:30.
Take advantage of these great opportunities, MESLS students!

Babcock Dairy Tour
Saturday, May 18th, we headed over to Babcock Dairy, the University of Wisconsin-Madison's campus dairy hall for a tour and ice cream. We learned about the machines dairy workers use to make cheese, butter and ice cream and got all our questions answered. By far the favorite part of the day was tasting the ice cream (chocolate, raspberry, strawberry, chocolate chip, cookie dough... you name it, they have it!)
